For me, art can be an expression of my soul and a communication from one soul to another. It might sound trite, but as an art educator, I think that we have a responsibility to educate our souls as well as our minds. My soul longs to experience a connection with the creator, God and to allow the Holy Spirit to teach me. I hope that others will be able to join me in this experience as I try to create works of Art that connect us to the Creator.
As for the other works on the site, they represent the journey that I have been through to find my voice and style as an artist. I enjoy painting portraits and being part of other peoples lives as I paint children and families. It brings me as much joy to paint them as it does for others to look at them.
